I was goin’ to go and get some coffee this morning with a friend and politely rain checked them. I haven’t very much felt much like doing a whole lot the last few days…Mainly because i’ve been missing something…being the main source/object of ones affection. You may ask, what did that mean? Well, for me it meant: subtle glances, grabbing my hand unexpectedly,being told how proud they were for some of my accomplishments…or picking up my apt or doing laundry when it wasn’t asked of or expected, helping me carry my guitar’s in and out of church…and in just a few days i’ve already felt like i’ve missed so much.
I found myself getting ready to tell someone how I just wanted to be that object of affection again……… Then it hit; I’m always going to be the object of someones affection. So much so the object that he was willing to endure so much for me that he sent his son down to this earth and bore so much pain just so in moments like these I can cry to him in my hurt and he’ll hold me. Because I chose to accept him; he’s accepted me in all my brokenness and hurt and sin and make me whole. I’m always going to be the object of my Saviors affection, his amazing grace, is crazy awesome love, and his forgiveness…no matter what i do, how far i run, how hard i try to hide; I’m still going to be the object of his affection….

so i was on my way to walmart and thought i’d use the black berry to make a video blog… 

We’ve got a lot coming up in the life of North Bridge Church (www.NorthBridgeChurch.CC). We’ve got a new series coming up in two weeks Called Blitz. I’m still working on a Graphic for that one, but in two months we’re going to start our Exodus series. I uber excited about this series. It’s a chance for us to get out in our community and do some good work for Chattanooga.  Not to mention I’m really excited about being able to get shirts for this series. I’m pretty happy with the design for them, just have to find a good place to print them for a good price with excellent quality. Things are going well, and I hope if you live in the Chattanooga area and you’ve stumbled upon my thoughts here that you would come check us out. You might just come to find you like church after all!

So I went out last night after work to take some pictures of the storm that was off in the distance. The lightning was absolutely amazing! I saw the most amazing light show ever on the way home. I got home and got my camera and headed back out to where I thought I could get some great shots. I set my camera up for a long exposure time… out of almost 100 shots taken I caught one Small glimpse of a lightning bolt. Spent almost two hours out last night for one picture. It wasn’t the picture I was hoping for, but at least I got one.

Sometimes it’s odd how when we really want to see something we only catch a glimpse of it, but then when you don’t want to….when you aren’t trying; it seems to be visible all around you lighting up the sky. I saw some amazing pictures last night. None that I caught with my camera, but some that will be etched in my memory for a long time.

Well….not really a story at all… Here it is, 5:25AM and i’ve already been up for an hour. This is how it is every Sunday morning. Can’t complain, it’s the one mornin’ I have to get up early every week and i’m excited to do so (unless I’m headin’ out to take some sweet pictures in which case i’m almost equally as excited, maybe half a cup less than sundays…). I love doin it though… Every week I get to work with some amazing people to acomplish something so much bigger than any of us.
